New member here too

Post by Doug Ward »

I have been a Corvair guy since 1960 have been on the CCF forum for a long time. I miss all the great contributors that helped keep that forum going. It looks like I'll find most of you here too. Hi Mel, Dave Motorhead, Steve Goodman , Tom Keo, Eric Player and others. I'll be happy to contribute as best as I can.
I have a '65 Corsa turbo with 140 heads, cam,& carbs plus I kept the turbo; blowing thru the carbs. My car is currently in the middle of an electric A/C installation. Its black with a red pinstripe.
I am also doing a full restoration on a '62 Monza convert, 102 hp.4 speed & Spyder dash. Its almost ready for paint.
My 3rd almost car is an abanded '83 Porsche 944. It was just hours away of being scrapped & I've made a stupid cheap offer that has been accepted. We are waiting on finding some lost papers so a title change can take place. Its owner passed away 12 years ago.

Doug, I really like what you've done with the 140/turbo combination. Nice work on the Porsche score (as long as the paperwork comes through)!
