Airbus A400M Atlas

Post by Phil Dally »

One of the best things about living where I live is a regional airport is near by.

They have contracts with two Army Bases...Camp Roberts and Hunter-Liggett.

Both of the bases have 7000' strips but only the jet fighters fly fly out of those.

Lots of varied military aircraft coming and going in and out of that local airport.

Every once and a while the British RAF shows up and practice parachute jumps.

That's a big plane they use and of course they call is something else...Grizzley.

It is quiet and you cant hear it coming...must be those counter rotating props.

Cool!
That is a pretty good sized plane.
Fits in there between the C-130, and the C17 Globemaster.
