I think I'm beginning to understand what you are looking for. Are you considering this 1963 Corvair "find" to be a car you might want to restore? Are you looking for advice to determine if this would be a good "project car" for you to tackle? Experienced members of the Corvair Forum can certainly "load you up" with advice and opinion, but helping you to determine whether or not to take on such a project means not only knowing a lot of details about the car you are looking at, but knowing something about you, your mechanical skills, knowledge and background. Body Build Date: 02 = February (1963), C = Third Week
The first digits are numbers 1 through 12, indicating the month of manufacture. The letter is A-E, indicate the week of the month. If the letter is a "C" it indicates the third week of the month.

When America mobilized for World War II, Ford responded by turning from building cars to building bombers. Ford commenced construction of the Willow Run manufacturing plant and airport in 1940 and it was turning out aircraft components the next year. In 1942, the factory began assembling complete bombers.
