January 4, 2022. CORSA Website Down Temporarily

Post by Allan Lacki »

Hi Everybody, FYI. The CORSA website was down yesterday and remains down today due to a power outage in Virginia where the server is located. Virginia was socked with a major snow storm that brought down power lines. The CORSA site will be back up once power is restored. :banghead:

CORSA Website Outage. Wednesday January 5th Update.

I spoke to Bryan Blackwell this afternoon. Bryan is CORSA's I/T guru. He said the CORSA server remains out of commission due to power outages not only in his neighborhood but throughout northern Virginia.

Dominion Energy, the local electric utility, is in the process of repairing 18,000 power lines that have been knocked down by tree limbs laden with heavy snow due to the huge storm that occurred there on Monday.

Dominion predicts power will be back in service on Bryan's area sometime tonight, in which case, the server (and thus the website) should be back tomorrow. We thank you for your patience!
