Trying to get the ramp and tailgate handles to work. Does anyone have a parts blow up picture of these? And are they the same for both the tail gate and rampside? I'm having trouble getting enough throw on strikers to unlatch. Would like to see if there are washers or spacers in the assembly and what screws are used . I'm sure I'm missing something very simple. Trying to use the originals. Thank ahead of time. Norm

If you don't find the actual detailed information you need on the
Corvanatics website, try clicking on CONTACTS on that website and send a message to the club members. They probably can answer your questions once you establish a dialog with them.

I have attached the last two sections of the
1960-1969 Corvair Parts Catalog, which focus on the Forward Control van and truck body sections. Perhaps you will find the material and illustrations you are looking for there.

All 4 are different to answer that question. The 2 on the tailgate work in opposite directions from each other as well as the 2 on the ramp. The ramp has different length "strikers?" from the tail gate.
