Anyone from the West Coast making the trip to the convention this year?

I will be flying in to Chicago and renting a car for a week. Just wondering who else is going.

I believe it’s in st. Charles il. July 23-27. I’ll be there. Only a 10 minute drive for me.

Hi Ed Stevenson,

If you want to participate in any of the convention activities that day, then yes, you need to register. For example, if you want to enter your Corvair in the concours, car display, economy run, autocross, or rally; or if you want to attend any of the tech session or meetings, then you need to register.

On the other hand, if you simply want to see the cars in the concours field or in the parking lot, you don't need to register. In other words, convention activities held in public spaces are, well, open to the public. In fact, we encourage non-members to stroll through the concours and car display fields.

The San Diego Corvair Club will have 10 members making the trip.

Funny, I just noticed the header said "Lake Charles" and not St. Charles, Illinois.
For those who are not sure it IS St. Charles
