Been awhile… Lots has happened, JEGS is gone, new owners yanked all Sponsorships

We ran at the Bootheel Fuel & Gas Drags !! Had a blast, made some decent runs, gained a bunch of knowledge, plus some new fans, here is the video !!

Season Opener for us was a Carshow, it was chilly out, but we were determined to fire it up for first time this season !! I had to unload around the corner, and drive the funny car thru a quiet neighborhood, to get to my assigned spot The Cops were there moments after engine shutoff... Lady across the street called them, the owner of the Ice Cream parlor, whom invited me, came right out with the Permit he had for this event, Cop looked it over said have a nice day, I'm sure I'll be back again !! A Burnout contest was announced, and I let everyone else go first... Got to the last car (me) pulled out onto the street, and backed halfway up the block, to get a running start... They handed me the winning Gift Certificate BEFORE I even did it !! When they backed away, I put it up on the TransBrake, and let it fly !! 7,000 RPM of Alky burning Big Block Chevy for 3.5 seconds, in what Was a quiet neighborhood !! Cops were waiting at my trailer, they were all smiles, checked it out and said that's Bad A$$ !! Asked if the lady called again, yup but since I was loading it up, no issue Got video too, I'll have to dig it out

Here is our first race of the year, it was chilly and we all struggled for traction !! But, I beat Joe to finish off our best 2 out of 3 match race !! We had a great time, was good to shake off the Winter blues, and go racing !!

Thanks Erco !! We went back i-57 Dragstrip a couple weeks ago, when it was warmer out, and got down the track just fine, made a couple decent runs, had a blast !!

Action shot, from our only attempt at Puddle Prep racing !! TV's Trap Queen (Mike Foster) supplied the Skinny's Street Sauce, and the plan to pour it behind tires, and back into it, due to our header location, and the fact that our crewguy likes his hair unburnt !! LOL, hooked up good for first couple hundred feet (as shown) but started spinning the tires shortly thereafter, and skated to the finishline and scored the Win !!

Here we are at my hometrack Jeffers Motorsports Park !! We ran a new personal best 60’ ET of 1.18 and stormed to a 5.51 ET @ 121+ MPH 1/8th mile, which is the second quickest run ever for the car, but a new best for the Corvair body (was ‘84 Vette prior) we had a blast and turned some heads !!

Why no chute? We get yelled at if we don't pull it in Landspeed.

My home track (I'm the former manager) 1/8th mile with 1300 feet of shutdown, if I'm under 130 MPH or so, I can just coast, and lightly drag brakes to the make turn off !! If I'm sliding sideways, I use the chute to straighten it out, both those runs were fairly uneventful !!
