I'd like to catch you guys up on my progress then continue to make updates to this thread, feel free to leave feed back.

So I got the car and the body was supposed to be ready to go. Unfortunately I found some body work issues that needed some attention.

Here what the car looked like when I bought it back at the end of December 2016.

Found a lot of bondo and a bad quarter panel, so I got to cutting and ordered a patch panel from clarks

Last weekend I did my first ever paint job, make shift paint booth at the shop. Primed sanded and painted interior exterior in one weekend.

Sure looks good for an amateur. Did anyone else notice the optional oil bath air cleaner, also used on early 64 cars without AC.

so over the weekend I got some more work done, weather stripping and the vent windows installed. I started working on some new door panels from scratch. I forgot to get pictures of the process so when I make them for the rear I'll take some pictures.

But I did do a better job on getting pictures of my headliner install so far. The rods were missing so I had to make them from 3/16 dowell rods. What I did was just put a 90 degree bend about 3/4 inch from the end and then formed it to the roof line and put another 90 degree bend in the other end.

After cutting the headliner at the bend of the rods and feeding them through in there correct spots I started from the center and worked toward the windshield.

At the edge of the headliner near the top of the door there is no trim piece, so I'm not sure where to glue it. Looks like I'll stretch it to the pinch weld and glue there then trim and get something to cover the pinch weld at the door opening in the photo. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks good. Yes stretch it to the pinch weld, glue it to both sides of the weld. Then trim the excess and use windlace to cover it. I bought 20' of windlace on ebay for a Mustang, it was cheaper than clark's and looks perfect. You need nearly 10' per side.

This weekend I painted the wheels, put the front and rear windshields in, finished the headliner, mounted the radio and glove box.

I have been busy and haven't posted in a while, but a lot has gotten done. Both seats are now in and door panels are done. Actually drove the car around a bit.
