Hi
I have a clarks/otto kit for determining push rod length.
Have misplaced the instructions.
Has anybody got a copy they can post or PM me.
Thanks for your help

Push rod length
Re: Push rod length
I do not have the instructions but essentially you want the rocker arm to make contact in the center of the valve stem tip .
You do not want the contact at the edge of the stem tip.
A piece of thin white paper on the stem works well to see the contact area .
If the engine has already been run you can just look at the valve stem and see where the contact has been.
I don't remember when you need longer or shorter rods but it will be easy to tell when you adjust the rod.
