Looking good tho...whats with that front air dam (chin spoiler)? Is that a bolt on fiberglass piece, or is it molded into the body? Looks nice...

Corvair guy since 1982. I have personally restored at least 20 Vairs, many of them restored ground up.

I made the spoiler out of steel as the front panel had been badly repaired in the past, I read somewhere that some sort of spoiler is needed to help with front end wandering, so I went for it. I guessed you steel fabbed the spoiler. its not much lower than the original panel and tough enough to flatten speed humps
