Re: Lowered the front of my 66' Corsa
Thanks TikiRalf!
I got the suspension done, again, for the third time...
This time I installed a set of poly spring pads on the bottom end of the spring. They add about 1/4" to the actual height of the spring, but raised the front almost an inch. I figure I must be at the ragged edge of the geometry to have such little adjustments generate such large results. I also put an extra shock bushing on the ram side of the shock to act like a bump stop. A quick drive around the neighborhood resulted in no bottoming!
The red wheels look good, but I'm going to wait on pics until the trim rings show, hopefully tomorrow.

Latest pic, this evening. Red wheels and new rear tires in 205/60-15 replacing the 205/50-15's.

Meh, and another contender for COTM!! J/K, looking good! I was wondering about the red wheels at first, but they complement the red int very nicely.

Nice ride! I always wanted to do a black and red car. I think it is a great combination.

The red wheels were a leap, but I had it in mind when we started the restoration years ago.

You have a great look going there. I had a black '51 Chevy coupe "Hot Rod" that I put the red and chrome wheels on so I have a soft spot for the theme. Looks really good, man..
