Sometimes owning and or racing a car can really suck! My car broke at Marshalltown but I kept running it at the convention Autocross. I checked the compression yesterday and I had 0 on number 3 so I tore it apart and I found a broken cylinder and a bad piston. Here is some pics.

Michael, would you mind giving a quick "how to" on the fenders? I am planning on some for a V8 car in the future and would like to know what to look out for. Maybe 1 1/2" for me. That car is really looking good!

I have been super busy here lately but I will look and see if I have more pics of the rear fenders that will show how I did them and I will try to explain more.

As you can see in some of the pics I tubbed my car so it might be more difficult to keep the original inner wheel wells but I am going to do this to a street car. The first thing I did was to cut the fender loose from the inner at the top where it starts to arch then I cut the vertical section of the inner fenders about 2" in from the outer fenders this allowed them to be pushed outward. Next I cut the fender vertically down the center then I cut it horizontally 1" above the body line. You also have to cut the top and bottom of the rocker panel so it will move then cut loose the rear quarter supports.
When I moved the fenders out 2.5" the front half of the fender moved forward into the door so I had to cut the fender vertically and over lap it about .25" right next to the door.

Heres a few more pics and you can see where I reattached the inner fender by the weld marks.

Ya, Good Job!! Nice fit with tire, what size are you able to run with the fenders being flared?
