Any four door lovers? I have zero cash to dole out on anything right now but I'd look into it if I did. I like the black.

I see it must be good on gas too, it's listed as a 4 cylinder with 2 cards, wonder if they are a pair of Aces.

Yeah - I saw that and laughed. In his tune up I wonder if he just replaced 4 plugs too. Maybe it runs on a pair of Aces!

I think I would be more concerned about 101,000 miles accumulated in the winter road salt lands of Wisconsin, Illinois, etc. Perhaps there is some Bondo hidden under that black paint? I would hate to have to drive it home like Fred Flintstone with my feet pounding the pavement under the driver's seat! (With only 4 cylinders fed by 2 cards, feet may be needed).



Seriously though, there are three CORSA club chapters less than 100 miles from the Corvair's location in Markesan, WI. If anyone would seriously consider this car and would like to possibly look for some CORSA support to check it out first, contacting a local CORSA chapter might lead to someone with experienced "Corvair eyes" who would be willing to act as a third party observer and travel to this car's location to inspect it.

It really doesn't look to bad but photo's can be deceiving, of course they never have any undercarriage photo's. I owned a new 65, 95 HP 3 speed. It was good car but I only had it about 2 years.

Only a personnal inspection would confirm if that's a good price. Could be a fair deal if you really want an 8-door Corvan. It's beats the one in Phoenix cost-wise.

That looks like a $2500-$3000 Vair to me just from the few pictures.
