Amazing work, how did you learn how to do that? I wish I had those skills, but I'm more in Pennsylvania-class repair category! ;)

7 am , 8 degrees C., 40mph wind gusts and the threat of rain (in England? never....) means paintjob was hurried a little, but at least its done and I can get back to Vair work soon :pray:

Yep....no surprises here. Why would someone take a door off(or did he?), make (sort of) repair patches, half braze/half rivet , fill...then paint??? How much harder would it be to do it right? :dontknow: :dontknow: Amazingly , there was no door droop :pray:

stage 1
cut out as much rust as possible while leaving as much original metal as I can , so as not to lose hinge position. Inner strength panel added before curved outer panel, aiming to do it in about 6 sections :think:
