Thanks guys! Yea its been a crazy year for sure :-).
In the Garage now preparing the Corvair for its next car show, and let me tell you this is a big one!
And its part of the crazy news, somebody want to guess what it is?
Now its Engine detailing, in with new custom carpet, hydraulic handbrake plus plus plus

Anyone know how the heatshield for the turbo is fasten original ?
Mine is fasten with two screws to the turbo upfront and with a regular exhaust clamp on the pipe, looks kinda funny looking to be original

Ok, I will take a crack at it...something to do with Gulf and racing?? LeMans series??

No but that would have been cool! :-).
The thing its more like a Car Show thing. I tought i could tell people already but no can do..
I'll post it tomorrow because it happening this weekend :-).
Since this above i had the stripes painted inside the car also today
And the Engine is nicer after long hours
Turbo and carb has gotten much love

Home after an awesome weekend in Halden all the way east in Norway some 5 minutes from the main road into Sweden.
2nd Place and the Corvair in the Scandinavis Most Beautiful Car finale.
Its so crazy i cant almost belive it after 24hrs !
Also invited to Finland and Denmark for some huge indoor Shows this fall!

Congratulations, and good luck on the Scandinavian show. Your hard work is paying off. Thanks for exposing the Corvair in such a great way. I'd bet at least 75% of the people who see it didn't know anything about a Corvair but now they've seen one of the best ones out there. I know you're getting a major thrill out of all of this.

Oslo Motor Show and Scandinavias Most Beautiful Car award is October 10-12.
Going to the last outdoor carshow on saturday and on saturday night im starting taking the car a little apart for more detail work :)
Invited to Denmark in the end of this month, and Finland the week prior to Oslo Motor Show.
Guess i have to see if the upgrades are finished :)
