OK, motor is in and its running. We haven't slept very much all week. Trying to get it ready for a show that starts today. Looks like I'm gonna miss the first day and go tomorrow.

Fixed the passenger door latch today and fixed the passenger quarter window too. The door now closes correctly and the quarter window actually rolls all the way down and back up again! :tu:

My matching front seats are on hold for awhile. So I bought some Honda Civic Bucket seats to put in. I am tired of foam bits flying around inside my car and getting all over me and in my eyes while I drive. I am going to document the install in the high performance section under "Interior" but here's a little pic of what they look like. (sorry it was dark out.)

Got some more stuff done this week.
Re-upholstered my speaker box.
Put sound deadening stuff on the rear package tray and floor and rear door panels. It's much quieter now.

Installed new seats, sound deadening and carpet. :tu:
The sound deadening stuff I used is from Home Depot. It's called U.Seal Waterproof Repair tape. It costs $16.45 a roll and I used just over three rolls to do what I have done so far. I think 5 rolls will do an entire coupe no problem.

Let us know if you find any problems with the U-Seal in the inland heat. I put a few sheets in my engine compartment to see how they hold up in that environment. If it holds up I'll put it under the lid itself.

How much different is the interior noise after putting it under the carpet?

Yeah, yesterday I put some of it on the roof after scraping the factory cardboard stuff off. I'll see if it stays there.

It made a big difference in making the car quieter and it feels more solid too.
