What type of air cleaners you supporting? Also like to know what type filters? I believe the air cleaners same as what I just came across just need good air filters. Are yours K&N?
Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project
I got the bases from Terry Kalp in Kansas, so I'm not sure of brand name.
The filters are from Clark's. Check out their Otto catalog, page 20

Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project
It's looking amazing! Looking at these, did you straight-build all of this by yourself? (thread too long to investigate on my own lol) oh and the door panels are nicely done, good job! Wish I had this much passion as well. Makes me wonder what I've been doing with my life lol
Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project
NO. not everything!
I did not do the paint. However, I did all the rest of the work including building the engine.
And by myself...... that and two knee replacements and one shoulder replacement is the reason it has taken 5 years to get to this point.
Except for the door panels. My daughter sewed up my design. With three colors of vinyl, she was not a happy camper. Her craftsmanship is AWESOME! The red seats were purchased.
My hope is to install a Haartz Stayfast cloth top, with her help.
SOON!

Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project
I see it doesn't matter, though as it's still an awesome build! Judging from what the fine work your daughter did, it looks like she put it quite some love there :) hoping to see more updates for this!rfw66 wrote:NO. not everything!

Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project
Bob, this is am impressive thread. I've spent two days reading it end to end. WOW!
My car is in paint right now, and I have my original 65 Corsa waiting as a donor to build it when I get it back. I am going with a Red/Black Interior against a Black Metallic body. Therefore, where did you get that steering wheel?!?! I had no intention of getting an aftermarket steering wheel until I saw yours.
Keep up the awesome work!!
