WOW! If I knew they made Covair amps, I would've bought one!!
I'm in the process of installing a Kicker sub, two rear speakers, Kicker front speakers, and an amp to bring the noise!!
Looking good Scott!

Jeez, you may have to air cool those thrusters!
I suppose you wouldn't be interested in this vintage 40W Audiovox "Sound Exploder"...

Took the car to the first show of the year yesterday. The Dr. George Car Show. Great show. Great weather.

Amps in and speaker box upholstered. Then I had to remove the amps and reinstall the old amp. Tested the system. 107.9 Decibels! New amps may go back in. Not sure yet.

Are the amps mounted in the front in the spare tire well? Just want to confirm.
Mine is cutting out when I rev the engine. Order a new condensor that mounts on the voltage regulator to see if that fixes it.

Found out the cutting out issue was the voltage regulator. All good now!

I had DazzlaRock draw my car for me. I added it to a CorvairForum Poster. I love it!

Currently have the car tore apart. I’m finally working on the suspension and brakes. I’m replacing the ‘60 suspension with suspension from a 1964. While I’m at it I’m installing the new fuel tank I bought from Clark’s. I’m trying to get it all done before a couple October shows I want to make it to. So I’m only doing the front suspension now. The rear will have to wait until after the fan belt toss.
