It's sad it has come to this for some of his customers. I know plenty of people who have received their product but that only makes it worse for those who have not.

I not only placed a fairly large personal order, but I promoted his website and product on several Corvair Facebook pages to try to encourage sales for him. I had hoped that he would fill my order eventually, but my personal cutoff was 30 days before the PayPal "drop dead date" when I would no longer have any right to file a complaint and would lose my consumer protection (November 12). To date I have not heard from him via email or PM and have not received any product.

I feel like if you wanted to you could easily make your own.

Mold a hot wheels LM and then sink a USB stick into the silicone clone.

It is a sad commentary on not fulfilling his obligation to fellow Corvair “people”.
I tried to order on the website he set up for his Corvair thumb drives, to no avail. So I guess I’m lucky in the respect I didn’t loose any moneys.
I believe that there is still a large contingent of we who would still like to have these little drives!
Anyone able, have the connections, to get it going again?

I guess the squeaky fan bearing hub gets the grease! Postmarked Friday the 13th, shipped via priority mail at great expense, and found in my mailbox were two LM Corvair Memory Sticks!!

Great! I saw an update on CC forum that all product was reported to have been mailed out last week so I was hopeful that yours was on the way.

I know I'd be interested if someone we know and trust were to do these again. I was gonna say the ones that were paid for but never showed up were the special "Corvair Underground" edition........

I'm getting quotes on doing a run of early model 2-doors but so far, I can't get them to budge on doing different body colors for a reasonable price. The minimum quantity is 250 units. Not committed at this point...just doing background work. I also would to standardize on memory capacity and probably order them all as 8G.

EEeew, EM's! Just kidding. I think the top of the hood and engine lid being totally flat makes it look really strange.

IMO 8GB is too small, 16GB is the minimum I consider useful. I'm constantly using them for movies and TV shows so they fill up fast. The main one I use is 128GB!

Azdave, good point. Most of the stuff I buy too, but if I'm going to buy a flash drive it might as well be a decent size in case I need to store some Corvair video clips. =D
