Geez, I don't know what you paid for it, but that's a beautiful starting point! I am one of the few who actually like loadsides better than rampys.......
It sure doesn't look very rusty either.

It doesn't look that bad, just dirty. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the Corvair Forum!
This link will guide you to some sources for parts and supplies (few Corvair parts can be found from local auto parts stores). Suppliers like Clark's Corvair Parts really make our Corvair hobby possible and affordable. I would encourage you to fully support these vendors. Without them there would be few Corvairs left in the world!
The link also will take you to several sources of free downloadable shop manuals, supplements and numerous other Corvair-related technical manuals in Adobe Reader (.pdf) format.

1110 = Engine manufacturing date of November 10 (The year is never included in this date, unfortunately)
V = indicates a 1961-1963 145 Cubic Inch Displacement 80hp Manual Transmission engine in an R-10 (Corvair 95) Forward Control (FC) truck. This engine serial number suffix code is unique to those three model years. Suffix Code "V" was also used in 1964 164 CI 95hp Manual Transmission R-10 Forward Control (FC) trucks.

The engine definitely looks to be all-original vintage 1961 — complete with manual choke carburetors (only found on 1961 Corvairs, Chevrolet switched to automatic chokes from 1962-1969). If you need to ever replace the fuel pump, the 1960-1961 fuel pump used a push rod that was a different length. If your pump is original, you would need to replace both the pump and the push rod. A detailed description can be found in the Clark's Corvair Parts online catalog, to help you to identify the pump and push rod you have on your engine. Also has the obsolete 1960-1961 distributor. You may want to consider obtaining a 1962-1969 distributor with an appropriate advance curve. They are easier to get parts for. Also, the later distributors can be converted to an electronic breakerless ignition system, which uses an optical trigger (Crane Cams) or magnetic pulse trigger (Pertronix).
Cylinder head casting numbers are found at the end of the head, next to the valve cover, and look like this...
No keys? if you can remove the lock assembly from the glove box and have a locksmith make a key for it, that key will also fit the doors and ignition switch.
Shifter components. Check with Clark's Corvair Parts or the Corvair Ranch http://www.corvairranch.com/.

Re: Pedigo and the '61 Loadside
Glad to help.
If you are interested, you are not alone as a Corvair owner in the Spokane area. There is a CORSA (Corvair Society of America) club chapter near you. These clubs are often great for learning, technical assistance, face-to-face socializing with like-minded Corvair owners, etc. They often conduct technical classes, competitions, picnics, car shows and other family-friendly get-togethers. I would suggest checking them out. Local contacts can be very helpful and can make the learning process much-less painful. Here is some contact information...

By the way, a loadside is a very rare beast. It was only manufactured for two production years, with a total of 2,844 built! Since they were industrial vehicles the were worked hard until they died, and most ended up in the scrap yard. After 53 years you seem to have an exceptionally clean original. I hope you have great success in restoring it back to life! If the rust and body rot is minimal, that would be truly rare — especially in a northern-tier state where it would have been exposed to road salt and other decaying factors.

Looking good! My mother in law lives in Merlin, and there's a fellow in Merlin that has LOTS of Corvair parts, mostly EM stuff.
