140 Rebuild

Post by Steve62 »

It's alive!! After nearly 11 months, and a few parts each month, this poor, nasty '66 140 has been completely rebuilt. I have over 60 photos and one video, so I'll post a few a day. Here we go...

Congratulations - That was a crusty engine. Sad when someone doesn't change oil in an engine. Glad you saved it.

Instead of retaining the aging, worn, problematic distributor...

Have you considered replacing it with an electronic, breakerless, cost-effective, brand new distributor from...

My thinking is...eventually...an electronic distributor, and possibly fuel injection. I do kinda like the fact that the only thing on the car that's electronic is the radio. Simple is good, but efficient and dependable are better! We shall see...

Amazing... the quality of your work in the shop appears to be as methodical, pristine and precise as the work on the drawings you created! I think we could all learn from the approach you take in your work!
