Happy Saturday!
A 9/16 wrench jumped right out of my hand and into the fan shroud!
Do I need to pull the turbo to remove the shroud and reclaim the wrench?
Thank you

You should try a magnet first, I have one on a copper wire. Don't know where I bought it though, try looking in the spark plug holes. Also look in the heater box to be sure it didn't make all the way down. ![dontknow :dontknow:](./images/smilies/dontknow.gif)

I have never seen a wrench make it all the way to the lower shroud. It would have to be a 1/8" is cross section! Maybe 1/4" on an FC engine with no "normal" dip stick tube.
Yes, magnet. Look in all 6 plug holes (well maybe not #5 on the turbo engine) and the oil cooler cover.

Thanks Frank. The wrench slid down off the fan on the drivers side. I found a magnet on a wire, will pull the plugs tomorrow.
