I tried a search to try to figure out this often-seen upside-down picture phenomenon. I found the following article...
Why does my iPhone take upside-down photos?

bummer :( was so excited because I got the whole donor car and thought I'd be up and running in no time... well thats never the case hahaha guess I have to track down a pedal set now.cnicol wrote:True story, the wider column on the '67 prevents using the pedal assy from a '65-6. Some other parts are a little different too but since you have a donor car you'll have everything you need. If you want reverse lights, let me know and I can walk you through how to make that happen. 65 4-sp is different than 67 MT and both of those are different than PG.
You'll want to round up a pedal set from a '67-9. Ideally a '69 so you can take advantage of the 1-year clutch cable with a heim-joint end rather than the trouble-prone ball end clutch cable.
Am thinkin about it actually. We'll see. The more I think about it though the more I like the idea of a hydraulic clutch. There's even hydraulic throughout bearings you can use as well.jeffinpa wrote:Or, since you have the donor car, you could use the steering column from the 65.
Driving time is very important in keeping the project building spirits upGod.favored wrote:Pulled the engine, trying to decide how much of it I want to go through right now since it was sounding really good. May just throw it in and wait until winter to rebuild it. Get some drive time in this summer:)
Have any info on this swap? The pedal I was looking at is too tall and just wont quite fit without some serious modification. I'm wondering how hard it would be to go ahead and use column and clutch pedal assembly from the 65. I'm still looking into other hydraulic setups that might work though.jeffinpa wrote:Or, since you have the donor car, you could use the steering column from the 65.
