Strapping down to a flat bed

Post by frez »

Hi everyone
Tomorrow morning I am strapping my 65 convertible to an auto flat bed. From what I am reading on line 4 straps crossed or not back is looped around the rear strut rods and the front is looped around the lower control arm. Does that sound right to you?

Yes, that's about right. If you decide to cross the rear (more secure on rough road surfaces), place your tie-back loops near the differential. (They'll slide to the center and loosen if you start with them tied outboard.)
