Got my windows Limo Tinted today. It came out good but I think they bent my rear antenna. :(

Not 100% sold on the windshield strip yet. This is how it looks while driving.
It took some getting used to but by the time I got it home I didn't notice it anymore, I think it will be ok.

I like the front strip but only if it follows the curve of the upper edge. It's a little harder to do that way but I think it looks a little odd when it gets fatter at the edges. Is the back glass one piece tint? The PO on my V8 did strips on the back glass and it bugs me every time I look at it.

Yeah way back when window tinting was just getting popular that was the way they did all of the rear glass in strips.
Yes my back glass tint is one piece.

I have both mine and my wifes daily drivers limo tinted. I removed the first ones front strip and told them not to do the second one. The PoPo will leave you alone for the most part without it. All the people I know who have gotten window tint tickets had a glaringly obvious front strip.

Yeah, I'm still not sure I'll keep the front strip.

Yeah, I'm gonna make a trip back to the tint shop and see if they can make it shorter or just take it off.

Got my HID light bulbs/ballasts installed finally.
I will never drive another car without these lights.
This was the whole reason I went through all the trouble of installing the BMW projector lights.

The last pic was taken with a night time setting on the camera so it came out clearer. (BTW these are the low beams!)

Did you do a thread on the project to install the lights? I like that mod.

Hey Scott didn't you just break every CA tint law? I take it either they don't hassle you for it where you live, or you're about to be hassled for it.

I saw a $99 tint job "lifetime warranty" ad in the local Pennysaver. I'm thinking the fly-by-night company will be long gone before the life of the tint is up.

Yes it's illegal but I rarely drive it with the windows up.

I just got a window tint ticket in my Denali 6 hrs away from home. The CHP officer was a major jerk! The tint had been on my truck for over 6 years, it's discolored it's so old, and never once did I get a ticket for it until last weekend.

That's right, your winters there are warmer than our summers! I have a friend in Riverside and she complains about being "cold" when it's under 80, or tells me it's 98 there and in the meantime it's drizzling here.
