Joe had trouble posting pictures so he asked me to post this for him.

*This car belongs to joepad*
1967 Corvair Monza Coupe. Automatic. Bolero red. 110 engine. Restored in 2009. All the exterior trim has been replaced with NOS or repro parts. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The exhaust system is the ultimate exhaust from Clark's Corvair. The interior is all original except for new carpet and mats and reupholstered driver's seat. Front disc brakes have been added and 14" American Racing Torq Thrust chrome wheels. Steering wheel is a new Grant mahogany wood wheel. Also the aluminum headlight bezels have been chrome plated. New carbs and red powdercoated fan. I hand painted a Rat Fink face on the chrome oil filter cover using one shot paints. Many of the engine components have also been chrome plated.

From Greg Vargas of South Coast Corsa Corvair
My 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 2dr Coupe; 140hp; factory A/C.
My car was built in the Los Angeles, General Motors plant.
There were 37,605 2-dr Monzas produced in 1966. And for the 140hp, which included C-64 A/C, it was a rare one-year option; only 4,780 made.

Hello CorvairForum Land!

Ain't she a beauty? Something wonderful that deserves to be a winner.....

Today is my birthday, so I think I deserve extra votes because I'm getting *gasp* OLD. (Like Tony) ::-):

She's a 1966 Wayne 100, less than 100 one them were made! (Man, I just realized, she's younger than I am!! *sniff*) Even though Tony and I aren't "boat people", we're sure lucky to have one to add to our Corvair collection. I really enjoy driving our rampside - and hopefully, one day, we'll get it looking as sweet as this boat so when we're driving to and fro from the boat launch, they look like they belong together.

I truly appreciate your vote!!

Cheers,
Marie

1966 140 PG Vert. Super fun car to drive. I had this exact Corvair in mind for about 10 years, and finally decided to dive in and buy one. It started out Red with a white top. I decided to keep the spinners and not go with the 70's tires.
It's a dark blue black with black int. This car looks like it should get a speeding ticket while parked. I believe this is what a Corvair should look like.
