Wow! Better than new! You're looking great and should be able to enjoy it for years after all this work.

Thank You CG & Big twin,

Did little more engine work, and the heads are clean, hopefully this weekend getting all the parts together for the assembly.

Saturday I have a appointment with the "painter" , the person that makes the body smooth and paints the car. Pretty "scary" big step, hope all goes well. Post update here as soon as possible.

Stay Tuned

Ralf

*oh by the way, booked plane tickets and a RV for a little round trip that ends in Knoxville, Corvair Convention, so watch out

Been bussy for a while, but still got some little progress on the corvair,

The heads are all cleaned out, and fitted with new valve guides
494.jpg
the valve's are redone, thay fit perfect again, and are all clean.
493.jpg
total shot, ready to install the other parts, hopefully this week, so we can fit the engine and heads together soon.

 :tu:  I think I said once before... it's a shame to put the car back together as a complete assembly, because doing so will hide so much of the detail and outstanding craftsmanship!

You are doing beautiful, museum-quality work. Thank you for sharing by posting these detailed photographs.
