Looks like you have a project on your hands, good luck. If you need any advice, help, pictures, etc. just let me know as I also have a '66 Monza.

Looks like the condition mine is in pretty much. Seems a little overwhelming, but I'm just doing one little thing at a time. Good luck!
Cheers!

Overwhelming? Na ... More excitement. There really isn't a lot to them when you compare to newer cars ( 80's to now). Good luck on yours as well!!

Moved the Monza today and was stung  by a wasp on the left middle finger knuckle  . Hand still swollen but i won the battle :assault: with wasp spray :rafman: ! Popped the trunk to find 3 spares and the hub caps, took out the front lights and some trim. Also found out that the floor below the back seat is all but gone :sad5: . Oddly i checked the oil and tranny fluids and they were perfect like it was recently done. Which it hasn't. That is a heavy car!!

You have lots of work ahead!!!!! Save some money, use windex on the Wasps. It kills them fast, works great on Flies too but don't kill the Bee's we need them. Good luck on your project, looks like about $5,000 & you'll be on the road. :banghead:

Looks good! Long way to go for both of us, but fun just to mess around with it.
Cheers!

It has been a while since i posted and have not been out to work on the monza, but might give a thought into swapping the body over to an S-10 frame and putting a 4.3 in it. Does anyone know what specific year S10 frame to use (if there is one) ? Also anyone have a thread on it?
