finally...a good one! Comments welcome

Post by potato124 »

If all goes well, tomorrow I should have this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Corva ... ars_Trucks" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Looks like a really good car.

Any comments or advice on owning this year? This engine? This transmission?

THanks to everyone for all of the advice.

Looks nice. Have you personally inspected it, or had a trusted agent do so? Without a hands on inspection any purchase is truly a crap shoot. I hope it is as good as it appears to be.

Very nice looking car! If it were a manual it'd be what I would love to have! Looks like you're going to have a lot of fun at the shows with it. Just make sure to wear your hat and sunblock on long drives. Don't end up like me and have half your face red and the other half white after a long drive on the highway with the top down!
1st one - 65 Monza Vert with power top and 110 with a 4 spd. Was a bit dilapidated but fun, 2nd was a 1965 Corvair Monza Convertible. PG - 1960 or 61 or 63 80 hp engine - we think...

The eBay listing has been discontinued, as apparently the car is no longer available. Sold locally?

Maybe his brother inspected it and bought it on the spot?

Fingers crossed....
