Hi this is Dave
I recently picked up a 65 Crown Converision. I helped a fellow GI in 1975 do the conversion on his Corvair and always wanted to do it again. I found it hard to get the parts nessary so I went looking for one completed, found this one about 6 months ago and this is about the most fun I've had with a car. I also own a 68 Firebird that I installed a 400 small block chevy and a 72 Corvette 350 4 speed. My first life was an A&P mechanic, now I love working on the old ones, something about that Corvair every time I take it out big smile ear to ear. Would love to hear from other crowns out there. Thanks! Dave

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!
I don't have a Crown, just a 64 Spyder, but I get the same feeling when I take mine out! it's always an attention getter, and draws many looks and smiles and thumbs up!![thumbsup :tu:](./images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Welcome!
I owned a 65 convertible with a Crown conversion many years ago. Then I got a 69 coupe with a Kelmark conversion. Now I own two Toronado conversions. I'm slowly planning a more modern engine swap in the next year or so into either a spare LM sedan or a LM coupe that I have parked out back.
Let's see some pics of yours!
