Our club is debating on driving up to do this show, or we also have a very large all car(generic) car show the exact same days here locally.

Come to the Fling! The turnout of this year determines if it happens again. There will always be generic car shows to go to. ggg

You can count on my brother and I to bring ours there! =)

It's going to be pretty fun. I'm hoping for a giant turn out as I'd like to see the local car guys there too. I've been past the location and was wondering if anyone knew exactly where the cars were going to be?
I sure hope to have my car back on the ground and a few miles on it to make it there this year ... oh I hope I hope I hope. gggg

Re: Capital City Spring Fling @ Sacramento, CA
Is there some kinda registration forms I should know about?
My brother is frantic. FRANTIC. btw, watching him "finish" his car for this show has been really really fun.
Oh, the stories I'll tell.
Last night till 11 pm chasing headlight gremlins. The new fuse panel is in. All the loose ends must be tied up this week. All new rubbers, fuzzies, and seals are done, all the little mechianical goodies, headlight switch, dimmer, door locks, levers, etc are "final".

Yeah, I'd better start doing some things on my car by the show. I have new SoftSeal door seals that need to go on and they don't seem to want to do it by themselves at night. lol. Also needs another bath and maybe a polish or two before the BIG EVENT. ggggg

Wooooo! What a great time! It was SO beautiful there today, just the right amount of shade, a slight breeze, the smell of fresh grass and lots and lots of beautiful Corvairs to drool over!
It was so great to meet those of you who were there and talk with you all. I got some good ideas on things I need to do, and it was fun sharing what I've done to my car with others.
My brother had a fantastic time, and is beaming with pride after his car's first official day out. He'd never driven it out of Yuba City before and was worried about that 40 mile drive. It did beautifully. Just a small drip of oil splashed up on his tins, and hey, it's a Corvair, so that's to be expected right? LOL.
After hearing "wow you really need to get your tins on there" all day, You all were proven right, on the way home my car got insanely hot. =( I let it cool down, and need to pull the plugs and make sure it's okay. It just started pinging really good when I got home in the yard. Cross your fingers for me.
