Wiring issue
Wiring issue
Hey, just wondering if anyone out there has a clear wiring diagram for the wiring that runs into the engine compartment. I have the loom that contains all the wiring for tail lights, alternator, starter, coil, etc... But the previous owner kinda ripped and cut wires so not quite sure where everything goes. So any pics, diagrams or info would be very appreciated. Thanks guys. Oh, it's a 67' corvair.

Re: Wiring issue
There is a diagram in the GM shop manual. If you do not have a shop manual it should be one of your first purchases....lots of data in them. For a 67 you buy the 65 main book and 67 supplement to have full coverage. That being said perhaps for now, someone may be able to post a diagram for you or a link to an online one.

Re: Wiring issue
The schematic diagrams below and the wiring harness illustrations may be of some help. All were extracted from the 1965 Corvair Chassis Shop Manual, The 1965 Corvair Assembly Manual, etc. These manuals can be downloaded at no cost using the link shown at the bottom of this posting.
