Generator to alternator conversion....

I would like to replace my 12v generator with an alternator. I have looked at Clarks and I see they have a kit, but I was wondering if anyone else sells a kit and where you guys who have done the conversion bought yours and how the quality was.

I have done several of these conversions, but have never bought a kit to do so, as it's really not hard to gather the parts and DIY. Very good instructions by Geoff Johnson of New Mexico are here:
