CG HEADING SOUTH JIMBO
A break at last. after this last few weeks I need it.... Wife needs to go to Kentucky saturday for orientation for college for a week for her second Masters....... were stopping in Charotte NC for a four hour lay over... Hoping to meet the couple that we bought our choc Lab pup from during the lay over.... than to Lexington KY for two days and than she goes to the college for four days .. NOW FOR THE BIG TREAT , I GET TO RENT A CAR AND GO TO HARTSVILLE , TENN. FOR A FEW DAYS..... Well the treat is getting to meet one of our Corvair Forum buddy's JIMBO and staying there with him and his wife Deb.. my phone buddy till thursday..... with lots of luck, we know I need it, I will meet my wife at the Airport..on thursday.... I may have been a crew chief on aircraft, but I surely hate to fly in one......we will be back a week from this friday......there is the other treat when I get home... I should have my new bigger zero turn mower sitting in the driveway........ first thing off the bat is to place steel guards over the fuel tanks..why in hell do they put poly saddle five gallon tanks under your arms on these mowers is beyond me. I dont need another attempted heartattack or be a pork BBQ either..... Cant wait Jimbo , we have been talking about this now for months... see ya monday morning....finnally going to make it happen CG

Jimbo's dad is not just sitting around for pictures..... He is busy on another project 53-54 chevy ........ when I saw this car , I knew what she was.... My Dad's first car in raising me... My dad had a 54 to 63. Than he bought a 63 biscyne wagon till I was able to drive and had all corvairs and I had a 67 goat..... seeing this car of Jimbo's dad brought back alot of memories......... really coollllllllllllll this being a straight six, she is packing a little under the hood.......cont

THANKS sam60, got a lot of time in it so far and a LOT of time to go. If anyone is wondering that silver thing with the metal lines and a rubber line on it is a vaccum assisted power brake booster, from 57 - 59 cad. Have not tried
it yet but should work good. Thanks CG for posting pics. Jimbo
