Last week we bought my Dad his birthday gift. 68 Mid 283. ALL running components have been rebuilt. Fresh rebuilt engine and tranny. All will need is cosmetics and paint

Looks like another sweet find! I like the rear valence panel treatment under the bumper.

AZDAVE you recognize the picture? Craiglist. We just wanted to go see another vair-8 to get some ideas on different set ups. This car is totally finished mechanically from brake pads to rebuilt engine. All it needs is interior and paint. We are still keeping the 65 that we bought last month but will be selling the 65 Convertible soon. I will posting pictures of the Convertible on the forum for sale, it is stripped down to body ready for sanding.

Yup. I usually see anything that is Corvair related around here, especially with a swap involved. I'm resisting bringing home another with 5 already at the place now. Glad you got ahold of it!

I know this thread hasn't been posted on in awhile but if you are considering selling you convertible or the kelmark setup please let me know. I live in Yuma but my parents live in Phoenix. My dad and I are always looking for our next project.

Scott is correct. That CL ad does belong to Charlie.

Let's "git-er-done" Charlie! It will be cool to cruise a couple of V-8 Vairs around Phoenix.

I just realized that I have seen that on Craigslist before. I emailed my dad about it. Is the suspension still out?
