LM's with aftermarket wheels

Post by Scott H »

I'll start this thread off with my car (per request) even though my wheels are by far not the biggest you can tuck under an LM. (not my first choice for wheels but they fit my limited budget. I will switch them out later on after more important things on the car are fixed ..like making it drive again...lol)
These are 17" x 7" all that way around with 235/40/17's on the rear and 205/40/17's on the front.

Re: LM's with big wheels

Post by Scott H »

These were my first wheels but I decided they were too wide in the rear (9.5") so I sold them ($150.00 profit :tu:).
However, I did like them better than what I have now :sad5:
These were 17x9.5 w/ 255/40/17's rear and 17x8 w/ 225/40/17 front.

I feel so inadequate with my little old 15" wheels

American Racing Torque Thrust D. 15X7 rear with 225/50 BFG G-force Kd. Kd stand for Key application Dry (a summer tire).

The tires are directional and asymetric so there is a left and a right . The rating is AA , A, 200. They are Y-rated for speed.

The fronts are 15X6 with 205/50s

Its ok Kevin. It's not how big they are it's how you use them. :rolling:

Hey Rafee...

Love the rims on your convertible.

What brand are they... and where could I get some?

Whatever Kevin. Those rims are B.A., all about style. Very traditional Hot Rod look.

Yikes!! I'm running 17"x8"s all the way around but with 235/45s up front & 245/45s in the rear. They fill the wheel wells. 5" bs like Tony's wheels. BBS baby.

I can't wait to try them out. :wrench:
