1960 De-Code help please

We will take a look at it, if anyone has additional information please jump in... :think:

Style 60 = 1960 model year
0727 - 2 door Coupe
0A = Oakland Plant
7898 = 7898th 700 series Coupe produced in 1960 at Oakland
Trim 7-886 26 = These codes are changeable by plant but 7=?? 886 = Med Gray Cloth, Lt Gray and Ivory Leather bench 26=???
Paint 924 = Roman Red
ACC-2 D 6A----4744 Accys are not fully decoded as yet, please post what is installed such as Gas Heater, 2 Speed Wiper/Washer, Radio, Outside Rear View Mirror, Folding Rear Seat, Right Side Visor, Glove Box Light, Bumper Guards etc.
In time these codes can be figured out. Chevy did nor publish what these were. Also if it still exists there was a build sheet placed in the spring area, under the front or rear seats, if that is still in yours make a copy and post it, that is a big help, only a few have survived...

Also please post some photos showing exterior, interior, engine and trunk areas and also the VIN# these help decode the tags..

To get a close date as to production date get the engine number, on the block just behind the Oil filler..

This is a start.. :wave:

It does have a gasoline fired heater. As it is a summer car only, we would like info on shutting it off, not removing it, but just a way to shut it down, a little leary of the kids riding in it. We have had the car about 15 hours now. it has two outside rear view mirrors. Single speed wipers. Will check on the folding seats and glove box light. It also has two carbs.
