Sweet ride!
The rack on the roof reminds me of the 62 Corvair wagon I had back in the early 80's. It had a ladder rack and I carried a 16' fiberglass extension ladder and step ladder on top. I had a small business wiring apartment buildings/hotels/motels for cable TV service. The wagon was too rusty to save and go donated to a club member for parts.

Re: New Here
Welcome Ralf!.....very cool ride! It's got a clean profile....and I'll bet you won't see any other Corvair Lakewoods over where you're at. At least I don't think so.

Re: New Here
@ Flat6,
Yes you are correct, i'm the only Lakewood on the road in the netherlands, i now another one but it is standing in a museum in the netherlands and have a USA title and papers (not legal to drive it on the dutch road)
So i'm verry happy that it is a unique car

Re: New Here
Thanks everybody !!!
progres on the car is not speeding up, waiting for a lot of parts, But i start to clean the suspension parts.
@ cockroach, you can get a lakewood any time, search when you're ready and you will find a lakewood
