RIP Gene Winfield
Just saw Gene passed.
Never met him but know he worked on some Vairs.
An artist for sure

Re: RIP Gene Winfield
Sad Gene has passed.
Before COVID our club was going up to the desert to visit him. He was still active and welcomed folks to his shop. At the last minute he had a health issue and we did not go, then COVID hit and the club never did try to visit him again. A missed opportunity.

Re: RIP Gene Winfield
There is a red late model "roadster" that keeps popping up on Facebook Marketplace in Wisconsin (Green Bay?) that he modified... Not my style, but, its out there.

The "Reactor" was in a number of T.V. shows.
It was in early Star Trek. See https://www.startrek.com/news/take-a-ri ... -jupiter-8

Re: RIP Gene Winfield
Gene lived right up the road from me and I went to many of his open houses, he also frequented Willow Springs racetrack, He was not only a great fabricator but also a really nice guy, He will be missed in this area, RIP.
