I see you have it for $4000.
Under the circumstances, what would you be willing to let it go for?

Re: Price lowered! Complete 140 engine for sale
I bought some pistons for Salih cylinders in the La Boa Sports Racer engine from Starr Cooke and they were fine.
I bought a few other parts from him over the years and they were fine too.
I enjoyed talking to him on the phone once or twice.
I remember his Ebay rating became less than ideal so he started a new account with his wife's name.
Recently I was looking for a 390 Holley for a Dune Buggy with a 140 and came across one on Ebay modified for Corvair by Starr Cooke. I got the idea someone was selling Starr Cooke's parts off but I could have formed my own misconception.
For about the same money the dune buggy owner wanted to go with a new Chinese copy since his brother put one on a Ford with success. It worked good enough to get it out of here so he could list it for sale.
I'm just wondering if there's someone helping sell off Starr Cooke's remaining parts.
Mainly I just wanted to say that my dealings with Starr Cooke were good. I am rather a careful sort.

You are, in my humble opinion, the exception, not the rule!
