1965 Monza Convertible available in Maryland

Post by caraholic4life »

I have a 1965 Monza convertible that needs a new caretaker. It has a 110 and a PG transmission.
The car is presentable and Solid where it counts. The Imron paint and the top are well over thirty years old.
The car has been kept mostly indoors for those years. No it is not perfect but something that can be driven and enjoyed. Asking price as it sits....$8.000.00 as I plan to concentrate on getting my Kelmark car back on the road.
IF you don't like the wheels, I have the 13" wheels and wheel covers that can be substituted.

The wheels are Western Bullet's that were available in the 1970's and 1980's. They are Aluminum wheels.
The set on this car are 14" X 5-1/2" but they were available in many diameters, width's, and bolt patterns.
The correct center caps are actually more difficult to find than the wheels and often more expensive.
I have about $1,200.00 invested in this set of wheels and center caps.

It has not sold as yet but I am not trying hard either. IF someone wants it, I will let it go, if not, I'll keep it.
The only places I have ever mentioned it is available have been here, the CCF and a couple times at Corvair specific events.

Thank you. There was a guy in "Talk" who was looking at a convertible and I mentioned yours (although I had the price wrong). "Not trying hard" is the best way to sell something.
