Frunk water issue
hi all , in good old it rains constantly, I haven’t opened the frunk in 2 years = flooded . Any reason where it’s getting in? I’ve replaced frunk seal also the drivers footwell is wet again any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very likely it is in the cowl area. The factory seam sealer hardens and breaks, allowing water to drip both into the trunk and inside the car above your feet.
Remove your wipers and the cowl grille.
Get a helper and put the car in a very dark area. Use a bright flashlight to shine from outside in and then from inside out (inside the car shining up).
When you have figured out the leaking areas, remove every bit of the old stuff and then use automotive seam sealer, not just caulking.

we have a product here called stika-flex used to seal and attach new body panels. It’s raining in today now there’s a surprise. I will check tonight if dry .
By chance do you or anyone know where I can buy the factory trunk paint from ?

So please made out of real metal so I can salvage most.

Well I sanded scraped painted with rust converter, then 2 coats red oxide primer. Marked out all the bad bits then got cutting:
