You are in the right place. I am still Lane66 M over there. Camew over here in September last year when I couldn't read the ccf anymore. I now hav a 27" monitor (was a 22" before), I can read the ccf better but go over once a week to see what new topics have come up. Amazing that there is not really not much going on there. Lately lots more tech questions being brought up and answered here than on that other forum from what I have seen.

Welcome Thumper/Vairyscary477! I agree, this seems to be the place to be these days. CF isn't as active as CCF used to be in its heyday but it's warming up here fast.

You may notice there is a lack of Locked Threads or Dictatorial actions by individuals with Ego issues here.

I'm doing what I didn't want to do, keeping an eye on both forums.
There's definitely more going on over here.
I'm a little confused over the sections but apparently everything goes through New Posts so if I get my daily fix there I think I see everything. I'm a lot happier since I joined and can avoid the extra ads and such by logging in, it only takes a few seconds.
I feel a little bit like I'm abandoning CORSA if I totally let the other one go. On the one hand I'm sorry to see it wither and on the other hand if it recovers they will not have to admit the error of their ways.
I miss seeing Steve Goodman's presence, he's got so many good tips and tricks. I like to reply to technical questions even though I don't know very much.

Jim B.:
Just click on "Portal" and the format is similar to CCF. At least that's what I do.
What I really like is clicking on the little red arrow (pointing NE) on the far right of each post. This takes you to the last unread post for that topic; saves scrolling and re-reading.
Welcome Thumper!

I click on the Taillamp and get the latest posts (unread posts) . Is this not the correct method? Seems odd to have two ways to get to the same place, but OK with me if it works !!!!
And yes, I am using portal more than Mechanical Section. It does remind me of old CCF on one page.
