Restoring a '63 Corvair 95 with my grand daughter this spring

Post by minutemen »

Restoring a '63 Corvair 95 with my grand daughter this spring. Last one I still have and I drove it to college back in '68.
Body still in great shape. Need to rebuild the drive train and it is ready to drive for another 50 years.

Welcome to this forum, I hope you enjoy it here.
Don't be afraid to ask questions if you need assistance, most here are ready and willing to help however they are able.

IF you add your general location to your profile, you may discover others local to you that you may otherwise not know of.
Add a Signature line that includes your vehicle year and model so you don't always need to remind us what you might be working on of there are questions.

Again, WELCOME.

P.S.

If you are unaware of it, SteveInMarietta produces several Corvair F.C. specific items that may be useful to you in your restoration. You can purchase the items he produces direct but some are also available through Clark's Corvair and e-bay.
Steve sells on e-bay as c8dgb61 http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&i ... kw=corvair

Here is a link to a recent topic I replied on that listed some of the many items I have purchased for my F.C. Corvairs from Steve. http://www.corvairforum.com/forum/viewt ... on#p134704

Is it a Rampside pick-up or a Van?
I love family stories that revolve around time spent working on a Corvair.
I often work on a Corvair that someone inherited from a parent or grandparent. I try to show them the special things that were done by their Father's hand so to speak.
