Corvair Chassis Shop Manual errors/corrections list.

The Corvair Chassis Shop Manuals do have errors.

To be fair-- the writers and illustrators worked without computers and relied on engineering input. They made errors and sometimes they were supplied with incorrect or missing information. These manuals had to be finished and printed and ready for distribution to all the dealers BEFORE the actual cars were rolling off the assembly line. Last minute changes were not incorporated. Bulletins with corrections were sent out to the dealers, so no "updated" Shop manuals were issued. It was up to the dealer to "mark up" existing manuals.

Well respected Corvair enthusiast Bob Helt and others gathered dealer correction bulletins and input from owners to make the following list. The last update I know of was in 2015. Sadly, since then Bob Helt passed.
