Problem is wheel hits side of caliper . If I put a spacer studs won’t be long enough . Guess I could get longer studs pressed in . Any suggestions

they look great! I put longer studs when I did mine. Are you doing the rears, too?

Have a 1965 Monza, how much will it cost to put disc brake all the way around and done by a mechanic?

Holyroller I put front discs on my '64 Monza Coupe and can't stop the car. Using the Scarebird Kit and early Camaro calipers. Bought a special dual port master cylinder from Speedway Motors which is supposed to work for Manual or Power brake systems. It hasn't helped much. I need a power booster but no where to mount it on an early model. I have ordered a different combination valve and am hoping that will solve the problem. Question is do your brakes work OK? Did you mount a power booster? What master cylinder/combination valve are you using? Any suggestions for getting my setup working right? Thanks, David.

Good questions. I've known a few folks who put "disc" brakes on an old car and ran into issues. You have to figure out the pressure ratio of MC displacement to the caliper pistons. Usually you need a greater piston volume (more pistons) to reduce the MC pedal pressure, but then you have to make sure the dual MC has enough piston travel volume so if one circuit fails (front or rear) to work the remaining brake circuit works (otherwise the dual MC is useless in a brake failure) - yes it is complicated. The first Corvettes with disc brakes used multiple piston calipers so a vacuum booster was not needed (poor vacuum with race engines). By the late 60's most American cars used single piston disc calipers (less expensive) that required a vacuum booster (power brakes) and a proportioning valve to rear drum brakes.

There are remote power brake booster systems (main MC works the vacuum boosted cylinder) if you don't have room. Been around for decades. Look at the first generation Ford T-bird.

When you use a boosted brake system it usually requires a brake pressure balancing valve (proportioning valve) to maintain brake balance between the front disc and rear drums. Some complex MC's do this, but it's easier for the hobby guy to install an adjustable proportioning valve and go to a test area to make adjustments to prevent early rear brake lockup.

Tons of people have installed front disks without power assist and it has worked fine for them. You have something wrong.
What diameter is the master cylinder?
