Excellent information as always , I’ve just finished working ( getting money for my next Clark’s order )😉
I’m going to try test the dimmer power ie if 12v there if not check main light switch connection .
My rear number plate light had bad body earth so will check front headlamps.
Car hasn’t moved since 2016 when I dropped a valve seat so maybe earth continuity is compromised.
Best regards Paul 🇬🇧🇬🇧

With every upside there’s a downside now the tail lights don’t work or front orange lights
Indicators do
Stop lights do

Hi all , well my new light switch arrived from Clark’s and it was broken in transit however I tried it and seems to have solved most of my lighting issues. Just front positions amber lights to sort. Hopefully fuse or corroded connection.
Drove her around my close it made it but spluttering and spitting flames from one carb :sad5: think it’s a crushed fuel line that flattened on acceleration. :dontknow:
Anyway at least she moved and stopped.

Update all lights working Clark’s sent a new switch (Thankyou so much Clark’s)
Now number 2 seems strange spark there , fuel ok ,
Maybe lifter sticking?? = spluttering through carb

The main horn relay wire is a direct unfused feed from the battery. The ma=in light switch gets its power from the same distribution point in the wiring harness. If you have headlights, it is likely that you would have a power feed to the horn relay. Power to the windshield wipers is from the fuse block. HOWEVER, both receive their power via the trunk multiconnector. If you have no power at the horn relay or the windshield wipers, there may be a faulty connection within the trunk multiconnector. Check with a multimeter.
