1966 Corsa with factory A/C

Post by Switchman »

Hello Corvairholics, recently swapped for my 79 Ford F100, this little gem will be preserved first and than slowly, as budget allows, will be restored to its formal glory. Bring on the season!

Congratulations, what a great find! There are a few times a year I wish my Corsa had AC.

Some more pictures from first attempts of some sort of a clean up in the engine bay. What a mess! My battery is on the wrong (right) side. The left fender is covered in some sort of protective thick layer of gunk, do I remove that? Looks similar to picture I have added. Is is there for protection from the battery? The RH was just dirty, very very dirty but cleaned ok.There was also some sort of insulation on the LH side but that is also unsuable.
