65 Corsa Convertible project
65 Corsa Convertible project
I have been working on this little car for a little over a year. I keep finding more surprises and places to repair, patch or replace. My next car will be the most rust free I can find!
Here is the first picture I took before starting. Notice the duc tape over the windshield at the lower edge. Duc tape hides a lot!

Removing the duc tape and then the windshield, it revealed one of the the reasons I bought the car so cheaply!

Here is the driver's side. Have I mentioned that I hate RUST!
This is enough for now. However, I replaced the lower windshield panel and the dash. I will post the pictures. I have lots of pictures!

This is the trunk floor. Everyone has seen this on one car or another.

Drilling out the spot welds and first cut to remove. I probably removed more than necessary to replace the trunk floor, but I wanted to use all the new metal as possible.

Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project
I had to weld up the holes left from drilling out the spot welds before I could give it a real trial fit.

Re: 65 Corsa Convertible project
That's interesting, Bob! Are you going to buy that metal windshield channel and weld it in? I'm in awe of the depth of some of you guys' projects!
