Oil pressure ports on EM Spyder

Post by Deadwolf »

Does the engine have anyplace other than the really tight spot in front of the starter to measure oil pressure?

I am trying to reroute my turbo oil line while adding an oil pressure gauge transducer, oil pressure shut off switch for fuel pump, and keep the original oil pressure switch that lights a light on the dash. Well let’s just say that while I can make something that works it looks like the east end of a horse going west.

If I had some other port to mount some of the pressure gauges it would help. I’m also turning the hard line into an 4-an braided line.

Does anyone know of a secret second oil port?

Roger Parent makes a kit that replaces the oil filter bolt with one that will accept an oil pressure gauge. His email is rlparent@cox.net

The part just showed up from clarks. Now I have to figure out a quick disconnect for the wire on my sending unit, so I don't twist the wire up at every oil change.
